Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions facility managers ask most. If yours isn't here, get in touch and we'll answer directly.
Getting Started
How do I get a quote?expand_more
Fill out our contact form or call us directly. We'll arrange a site visit—typically within 48 hours—to assess your facility, understand your requirements, and provide a detailed, fixed-price proposal. There's no obligation and no vague ballparks.
What types of facilities do you service?expand_more
We specialise in three commercial verticals: offices and corporate facilities, schools and educational institutions, and gyms and fitness centres. Each requires a different cleaning protocol and product set—we don't apply a one-size-fits-all approach across them.
What areas do you cover?expand_more
We currently service the Greater Melbourne area. If you're unsure whether your location falls within our service zone, get in touch and we'll confirm.
Pricing and Contracts
How is pricing structured?expand_more
Pricing is based on facility size, cleaning frequency, service scope, and any specialist requirements (such as electrostatic disinfection or after-hours access). We provide fixed-price contracts rather than hourly rates—you know exactly what you're paying before work begins.
Is there a minimum contract length?expand_more
Our standard service agreement runs for 12 months with a 30-day notice clause. For new clients, we offer a 90-day initial term to let you verify our standards before committing to a longer arrangement.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with a clean?expand_more
We offer a same-business-day remedy guarantee. If an issue is reported before close of business on the day of the clean, we'll return and rectify it at no additional charge. No arguments, no credits—we just fix it.
Operations and Scheduling
Can you clean after hours or on weekends?expand_more
Yes. After-hours and weekend cleaning is a core part of our service, particularly for offices where cleaning during business hours would be disruptive. We have formal key management, alarm code protocols, and start/end confirmation procedures for every after-hours visit.
What happens if a cleaner is sick or unavailable?expand_more
Each client site has a designated backup technician who has been briefed on your facility and requirements. In the event of unplanned absence, the backup covers the clean without you needing to take any action. You'll receive a notification if a replacement has been used.
How much notice do I need to give to adjust my schedule?expand_more
Standard schedule changes (frequency, timing) require five business days' notice. For one-off changes or additional cleans, we'll accommodate where operationally possible—typically with 24–48 hours' notice.
Standards and Quality
How do you verify cleaning quality?expand_more
We use ATP bioluminescence testing on a scheduled audit basis—this measures actual biological contamination on surfaces rather than relying on visual inspection. Audit results are shared with your facility manager in a written report. High-touch surfaces, food prep areas, and toilet facilities are tested on separate schedules based on risk level.
Are your cleaning products safe for children and pets?expand_more
Yes. We use EPA-registered, pH-balanced cleaning and disinfection products that are safe after drying. For school environments, we follow specific product selection criteria that exclude harsh solvents and irritants. Safety Data Sheets for any product used on your site are available on request.
Do you offer eco-friendly or green cleaning options?expand_more
Green cleaning practices are built into our standard service, not sold as an add-on. We use dilution-controlled dispensing to reduce chemical waste, microfibre systems that require less chemical input, and biodegradable product ranges across most service lines.
People and Security
Are your cleaners background-checked?expand_more
Yes. All Dolpo technicians undergo a National Police Check before starting work. For school contracts, we additionally require a Working with Children Check. Background check documentation is available to facility managers and HR teams on request.
Who manages the cleaners on my site?expand_more
Every client account is assigned a dedicated Account Manager who is your primary point of contact. The Account Manager oversees the cleaning team, conducts quality audits, and handles any site-specific issues. You're not calling a general enquiries line—you have a named person responsible for your account.
How is key and access management handled?expand_more
Key custody is documented in a signed chain of custody record. Keys are stored securely at our depot with non-identifying tags. Alarm codes are held in encrypted digital storage with role-based access—only the assigned site supervisor can access them. Every access event is timestamped and logged.
